Junior Backend Developer for Germany

Our client is a worldwide leading producer for farming machinery. Responding to the modernisation and the need of digitalisation of the farming sector, in cooperation with other heavy weights, they founded a company developing a platform for the modern farmer. This cloud based software manages the entire spectrum of the agricultural industry. Be part of the development of a revolutionary management tool for the farming industry. The office is based in Berlin and backed by partners of the German big industry. The team involves 40 highly motivated innovators.
Your Role:
- Conception, implementation and development of a management-platforms internet based backend-system
- Development and maintainance of database-orientated informationsystems
- Development of Webservices for cross-platform datatransfer
- Contolling and developing of the backend for the administration and query of databases
- Optimization and automization of existing technical infrastucture and development processes
- Preparation and specification such as implementation of those in corresponding programs
- Analysis and selection of complementing software-products
- Creation of technical documentation
Your Profile:
- Completed University Degree in Computer Sciences or comparable
- Strong knowledge in Java-JEE6 (i.e. CDI, EJBs, JPA, HQL, JMS)
- Fundamental experience in use of webservices and their standards (REST, SOAP) in Java-Environment
- Knowledge with databases (SQL,Tuning, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with deploymentprocesses and -strategies in distributed environments and
development of such, as well as patch-management
- Good knowledge of communicationprotocolls (HTTPS especially for web-applications)
- Good knowledge of search engines (SoIR, Lucene)
- Fluent in english language (written and spoken) ; basic knowledge of German
- Reliable and independent style of work
- Teamplayer and customer orientated
- Systematical style of work and analytical thinking
